John Burrows, Chief Executive Officer

John Burrows was named President and CEO of the “new” Cyanco upon completion of the Oaktree acquisition of CyPlus and merger with Nevada Chemicals Inc. in October 2008. Mr. Burrows joined Degussa, a former owner in the Cyanco Joint Venture, in 2001 and was appointed President and General Manager of CyPlus Corporation when the CyPlus group of companies were carved out of Degussa in 2003. He was also appointed as a member of the CyPlus Global Management Team and represented CyPlus / Degussa on the Executive Committee and the Operating Committee of the Cyanco Joint Venture. In June 2006, Mr. Burrows took on the additional role of VP-Operations and Plant Manager at the Cyanco Joint Venture and formally transitioned to Cyanco in 2007, continuing in that capacity until his current appointment. Mr. Burrows holds a master's of business administration degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and has over 30 years of broad operations and management experience in mining and the chemical industry. Mr. Burrows was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the Nevada Mining Association and serves on the Advisory Board of the Mackay School of Earth Sciences and Engineering at the University of Nevada, Reno.

William S. Scott, Chief Financial Officer

William S. Scott is Chief Financial Officer of Cyanco. In this role, he oversees and directs all significant aspects of Cyanco’s financial, accounting, treasury, risk management, human resources, and information systems. Mr. Scott joined Cyanco in 2010. Prior to joining Cyanco, Mr. Scott served as Chief Financial Officer or as Senior VP of Operations for global manufacturing and service companies. Mr. Scott is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant and holds a BA in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara.

Bob Warriner, Vice President of Marketing & Sales

Bob Warriner started with Cyanco in 2004 as Sales Manager. Prior to joining Cyanco, Mr. Warriner was Account Manager for cyanide and related equipment sales for CyPlus Corporation (a wholly owned company of Degussa), and a joint venture owner in Cyanco prior to its sale to Oaktree. Mr. Warriner also served as Mining Sales Manager to the Canadian mining industry for ten years with distributor McKenzie & Feimann. Mr. Warriner plays an active role in a number of professional and community organizations. He serves as Director to the Nevada Mining Association, Chairman of the NvMA Supplier's Club, as a committee member to Ronald McDonald House and actively volunteers in the community. Additionally, Mr. Warriner is a member of the Society of Mining Engineers as well as the Canadian Institute of Mining.

Greg Mitch, Vice President of Operations and Plant Manager

Greg Mitch joined Cyanco in 2008 following the acquisition by Oaktree. Mr. Mitch has extensive industry experience in chemical process. Past positions include process engineer, project engineer, plant engineer, maintenance manager, project manager, production superintendent, general operating superintendent and plant manager. Mr. Mitch received a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from the University of Oregon. Additionally, Mr. Mitch is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (“A.I.Ch.E”), serves on the Red Cross Appropriations Committee, on Parish Council, and is a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner.

Roy Norcross, Director – Applied Technology & Quality Programs

Roy Norcross was hired by Degussa in 1986 to help establish an applications laboratory to promote the use of Degussa's products in the mining industry. Mr. Norcross has held various positions within Degussa's Industrial Chemicals group. He accepted the position of Global Technology Manager in 2003 when Degussa carved out its mining chemicals group and established CyPlus as a wholly owned subsidiary. Upon Cyanco's acquisition of the North American assets of CyPlus, Mr. Norcross was appointed General Manager for Cyanco Corporation and Cyanco Canada Inc. Along with his new responsibilities in management, Mr. Norcross continues to develop and implement cyanide detoxification processes, handling and analytical equipment. Mr. Norcross received his BS degree in Chemistry from Muhlenberg College in 1984. Over his 23 years in the mining industry Mr. Norcross has worked closely with many gold and silver mining companies around the world and has authored and co-authored numerous papers, presentations and patents.

Paul C. Rostek, President & General Manager for Cyanco International, LLC.

Paul Rostek was named as President & General Manager of Cyanco International, LLC in April 2011, and in this role has the executive responsibility for the construction and ongoing operation of the new 55,000 metric tonne per year sodium cyanide plant being built in Alvin, Texas. Mr. Rostek, with more than 30 years commercial and technical experience in the petrochemicals and pulp & paper industries, joins Cyanco having served in a variety of executive positions at Sterling Chemicals, Inc. and most recently as Senior Vice President, Commercial & Business Development. Mr. Rostek is a member of the Founders Club comprising of select individuals with a minimum of 25 years distinguished service in the petrochemical industry whose mission is to advance the legacy inherited from the original “Founders” and to advance the future of the industry.
